Privacy
This document sets out exactly what this site collects, why, how long it keeps it, and what you can require.
This site collects the strict minimum. It sets no advertising tracker, uses no third-party analytics, and passes no data to advertisers. No content is loaded from an outside server: fonts, images and scripts all come from the site itself.
One cookie is used on the public pages. It remembers the language you chose at the threshold, for thirty days. It is strictly necessary to the operation of the site and enables no tracking, so it does not require your consent.
If you create an account, a session cookie is added for the duration of your connection.
When you send a message through a form on this site, the following are recorded alongside what you wrote:
These are recorded whether the submission is accepted or refused: a rejected submission (incomplete form, automated sending, blocked address, limit reached) leaves the same trace as one that was received, together with the reason for the refusal.
This is carried out on the basis of the publisher's legitimate interest, under article 6.1.f of the General Data Protection Regulation. That interest is the security of the service, the prevention and establishment of harassment, threats and offences against the person, and the establishment and defence of legal claims.
These elements are held in a log separate from the message itself. Deleting a message does not delete that log.
Verification of your age is carried out by a specialist provider, independent from this site. Documents you supply to that provider do not reach the publisher, who receives only the outcome.
Payments are handled by a payment provider. No banking details are entered on this site, nor kept by it.
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over data concerning you. These are exercised at contact@adaahlaw.com.
Those rights have a limit worth stating plainly: where data is kept in order to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, a request for erasure may be refused on that ground, under article 17.3.e of the Regulation. Any such refusal is explained to you.
You may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
The technical log is held outside the web-accessible area and can be read only by the publisher, after two-factor authentication. Each record carries a cryptographic fingerprint computed at the moment of its creation, which establishes that it has not been altered since.
